Help! I’ve recently moved to Florida and set up my salt lamp. I don’t always turn it on, and had it in my bedroom near a window. It’s generating a big puddle of slush practically every day. I’ve turned the light back on. The light seems to be getting brighter through the walls of the lamp. Obviously, it’s dissolving…. anyway to reverse or stop this trend? Do I need to switch to a lower wattage bulb? With the humidity here in Florida, is having one of these a hopeless cause?

    Thanks,

    Mimi

    Hi Mimi,
Generally they don’t dissolve. However, if you are in high humidity, there is a fair chance that they will dissolve. Definitely try using a lower wattage bulb. Other than that, I think your cause may be hopeless in high humidity areas.
